Supply & installation
Unit supplied and installed, or your own unit fitted if you have already bought one. Either way the install is the same standard.

Most aircon complaints are not about the unit. They are about a unit too small for the room, a drain that was never run properly, or trunking that looks like an afterthought on the front of the house. All three are install decisions.
A split unit is two machines joined by a pipe, and almost everything that goes wrong later is decided on the day they are mounted — where the outdoor unit stands, how the pipe is run, and where the water goes.

The unit is sized on the room — volume, windows, which way it faces, how much sun it takes. An undersized unit runs flat out and never gets there; an oversized one cycles and costs more than it needed to.
Pipe runs planned on the shortest sensible route, in trunking where they show, so the outside of the building does not end up with a snake down the wall.
Condensate falls to a proper outlet with the right gradient. This is the single most common reason a unit ends up dripping down an inside wall a year later.
Its own supply from the board with an isolator at the unit, so the aircon can be switched off for service without killing half the house.
Filters, coils, drainage and gas pressure. A unit that has stopped cooling is often a service and a regas, not a replacement — we check before we quote a new one.
A photo of the room and of the outside wall where the unit would stand covers most of this.
Do not have all of that? Message us anyway. The survey exists precisely so that you do not have to work any of this out yourself — it is free, and there is no obligation at the end of it.
It depends on the room, not the price list. We look at the size of the room, how much glass it has, which way it faces and how much sun it takes, and size the unit to that. Going a size too small is the most common mistake and the one you feel every hot day.
Yes. We will tell you first if the unit is the wrong size for the room, but if you are happy with it we will fit it to the same standard as one we supplied.
A unit that runs regularly needs its filters and coils cleaned and its drainage checked periodically — how often depends on how hard it works and how dusty the site is. We will tell you what your units need when we look at them rather than sell you a schedule now.
Condensate drains from the indoor unit to an outside discharge point, falling the whole way. Where that gradient cannot be achieved by gravity, a condensate pump is fitted. It is worth asking about, because a drain that does not fall properly is the reason units drip down inside walls.
Usually not. Reduced cooling is most often dirty filters and coils, or gas pressure that has dropped. We check and service first, and only quote a replacement if it genuinely is one.
Yes — multiple units, and the electrical work to feed them. Tell us how many rooms or how much floor area and we will size it.
